WHAT WE DO

Finding good talent isn’t easy. In fact, it can be painful if your recruiter’s thinking about commissions instead of your business. You know the recruiter we’re talking about—the ones that send you high-end bagels and coffee, but can’t send you a good résumé. Or they’ll hard sell a new job opportunity that isn’t a match for your long term career goals.

Taking the frustration out of the hiring process is our expertise. Melissa Quist and her team of experts work hard to match the right candidates with the right jobs. My Marketing Recruiter specializes in sourcing and recruiting nationally.

My Marketing Recruiter is committed to diversity and inclusion recruitment and selection practices. To ensure an inclusive recruiting process, we use a variety of sources including, but not limited to: Historically Black Colleges and Universities, diverse job boards and Hispanic Serving Institutions. In addition, we work with our clients to ensure job descriptions are as inclusive as possible, such as separating must-haves from nice-to-have skills, so candidates from all backgrounds understand what’s necessary. WHO WE ARE

Melissa Quist, Founder

Melissa is a seasoned talent acquisition professional who has worked in the Advertising industry, Fortune 100 Corporations, Big 4 Consulting, Higher-Education, High Tech Start-Up, Staffing Agencies and the Financial Regulatory sector.

In addition to her marketing recruitment expertise, Melissa was also the Founding Manager of a start-up search agency within Emory University that specializes in the identification and recruitment of executives. In less than a year of operations, The Emory Search Group, became the new model of recruiting.

Quist is results-oriented, strategic and customer focused in her management of recruitment projects. She has expertise in various functional areas including: Advertising & Marketing, Technology, Strategy, Finance & Accounting and other operational areas.

In college, while studying advertising and PR, Melissa quickly realized her passion for this field. Today she marries both her desire to connect people with the industry she loves. Originally from New York, Melissa lives in Atlanta, GA with her husband and two children. She’s a certified yoga instructor and enjoys international travel. She’s never met a slice of pizza she didn’t love.

Quinn is a true partner to our clients and asks all the right questions- helping to create impactful and long term relationships. Quinn is originally from New Orleans and comes from a big, loud family of chefs and restauranteurs. He’s proud to call Atlanta home and you can often find him traveling with friends or cooking up something new.
